I was reading the first chapter of Luke the other day, when Brynn approached me and asked what I was reading about. I told her it was about the birth of Jesus and attempted to tell her the story, when she stopped me and said,”I can tell you”. So she did, in more detail than I would have. It truly brought tears to my eyes. My thoughts were of pure JOY, knowing that she understands one of the most important events in our Christian history. So I took it a step further and asked her if she understands the meaning of Easter and she said, “Candy”. More work ahead for me!!!!!!
That was a very cool story! Man, I love kids!
Out of the mouth of babes. Well at least you know where her heart is.
This reminds me of the story when a child was asked to explain Easter and it went something like this:
Easter is that day that Jesus came out of the tomb after being buried for three days. When he came out he saw his shadow and said there’d be six more weeks of winter. B4T
Pudge, at least the first part of the story was correct. That was a good laugh. Thanks for sharing:).
CANDY!!!!!!!!! It’s what makes the world go ’round
